A bit about Jay... Well, let's see...I'm a radio geek that got my start jocking in nightclubs back in the 80's, that should give you an idea of what level of "geezer" I am. 20 years in the radio business, and I've lived to tell the tales!
I have a lovely wife (Liz) and a beautiful son (Michael Eli). In additon to my passion for music, I am also interested in all water sports, cycling, cooking (yes I am actually quite a good cook, as my waistline will tell) and lounging. By lounging, I don't mean bar hopping (those days are over for me), I mean lounging by the spa in the hammock with the wife and the kid.
I am proud to call some of your favorite country singers my friends! Folks like; Clay Walker, Keith Urban, Darryl Worley, Chris Cagle, the Trick Pony guys (and Heidi), and a bunch more. I'm not bragging here by the way, just letting you know in case they ever come to town...
A bit about Niki... I'm a pretty middle of the road kind of chick. Though I do tend more toward tomboy than the girlie side. That probably has a lot to do with growing up surrounded by open space in Colorado. I enjoy sports, both watching and playing........ though I haven't strapped on my skis... or the hockey skates in a few years (these early mornings after a late game will kill ya!). I love the rush of rollercoasters, and had a totally kick a** time riding in a PATRIOT aerobatic team jet once! WOW!
I've been married FOREVER to my best friend in the world. Smart as a whip, sarcastic as me (yes... it CAN happen!), and tight buns too (ladies... keep your eyes and hands to yourselves... I've never been any good at sharing)! The hubs and I have one "kid". Technically, he's an official adult according to the US government.
I love love love country music... from deep Texas twangy to the modern rockin' grooves! I have great respect for the talent of a top notch vocalist, and a particular affection for the brains and soul behind the song...... songwriters don't get enough well deserved credit.
